Obituary

Beagle, Hazel Isabelle
December 25, 1919 – January 30, 2020
Hazel Isabelle Beagle passed away peacefully on January 30, 2020 in Rocky Mountain House, AB.
On December 25, 1919 Hazel was born on her grandparent’s farm in Brant, AB to her parents Alta May Beagle (nee Williams) and Ray Beagle. Hazel and her older brother Raymond were raised on the family farm near Armada, AB.
Hazel devoted her life to be a companion and later a caregiver to her early widowed mother. She stayed on the farm with her mom until they moved into Lomond, AB in 1971. Hazel was the Secretary Treasurer of the Lomond Grazing Association for many years. After her mom died in 1985 she started exploring the world. Hazel loved her bus tours and the many different travel companions.
Hazel moved to Rocky Mountain House in 2005 where she lived independently at the Columbus House until she moved to The Ravines in 2017. Hazel made many, many friends over her 100 years and remembered every one of them right up to the day she passed away.
Hazel leaves behind her nephews Gary (Donna) of Rocky Mountain House, AB, Donald (Joyce) of Victoria, BC, Randy (Beth) of Rocky Mountain House, AB and Jack (Holly) of Rimbey, AB; her 10 Great Grand Nieces and Nephews and 17 Great Great Grand Nieces and Nephews and 1 Great Great Great Grand Niece, as well as many other wonderful friends.
Whenever we left Auntie Hazel, she would say “Praise the Lord, Hallelujah, Amen”.
On Hazels request there will be no memorial service held. Memorial donations in Hazels name may be made to the Lomond Drop in Center or the Lomond Arena Box 264 Lomond, AB T0L 1G0.
