Condolences

Joanne Thyer:

I met Don many years ago at the Rocking Horse Saloon in Calgary. I would two step every Saturday night with my friend Len. Don was a wonderful friend and would meet me to go dancing when Len was out of town. He would be first to tell anyone that he was there to watch out for me because my very tall and big husband was out of town. He would tell some great tales sometimes. Don was always the gentleman. Don was supposed to give me away at our wedding until it was suggested my son who was 8 give me away. Don came to our wedding with all of our dancing friends and would call us on our anniversary for many years. We have thought many fond memories of Don over the years. Our condolences to Don’s family.

Teresa Paugh-Heintz:

I have been in the process of buying a horse and thought of Don, and his horses Ace, Charm, Peppy, Blue Eye, and Daisy. I thought I would see if I could somehow contact him but only to find his obituary. I am deeply saddened.

Don was a kind man to anyone he came across. He was was very good to me, and my daughter allowing us to drive out and ride his horses along with him. His love for the cowboy life was quite evident.

Hold your memories of him close and dear as you were lucky like myself to have shared a part or all of your life with him.

Teresa

Barb Mitchell:

I recently heard of Don's passing though I know it has been a few months. My family (the Mitchells) enjoyed being neighbors to Don and his family. We shared alot of laughs and the catch up phone calls over the years. I know you will miss this great man. He was quite a character!!

Ron Butterfield:

So sorry about the loss of Don. Don's father "Uncle Hilly" was my mom's brother. I fondly remember Don when he visited our family when we lived in Wisconsin. He will be missed but fond memories continue.

Pam Winterhalt (Flanagan):

Deepest sympathy to the St. Germain families on the loss of Don. May your happy memories of times spent with Don bring you some comfort as you grieve.
