Obituary

Mark Andrew McIsaac
December 28, 1973 - February 24, 2018
It is with great sadness and heartache that we announce the passing of God’s loyal servant, who has been called home to his place in heaven. After a long illness of Diabetes, Mark’s kidneys were failing, and he was on nocturnal dialysis for the past three years. He was on the transplant list for a kidney and pancreas, but before he got the call he suffered a severe brain aneurysm and entered into a deep coma. His whole family was at his bedside the entire time.
Mark was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The family moved to Alberta in 1976. Mark is survived by his wife Brandee (Foley), precious daughter Kaylee, mother Debbie of Red Deer, father Andrew (Beverly) of Markerville, brother Brent (Heather) of Sylvan Lake, sister Terena (Mike) of Airdrie, brother Matthew (Makayla), brother Chad (Allison), Stepmother Donna of Ponoka, Stepfather Steve of Ponoka and Grandmother Flo McIsaac of New Waterford, Nova Scotia. Mark was an uncle to Mercee, Nash, Cooper and Zoey.
Mark was predeceased by his Grandmother and Grandfather Pearl and Leo Delaney, Grandfather Andrew “Gumps” McIsaac, Uncle Bill Mackay and Aunt Margaret Clancy.
A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held on Friday, March 2nd, 2018 at the Sylvan Lake Alliance Community Church, 4404 47 Avenue, Sylvan Lake, Alberta at 2:00pm. Cremation entrusted to Rocky Mountain Crematorium, Rocky Mountain House, AB.
For those who wish to make a memorial contribution in Mark’s name, donations may be made to Kaylee’s RESP at BMO Bank (BMO 1001-4156912), or to the Diabetes or Kidney Foundations.
