Obituary

Ladd, Christina Joy
1966-2018

Chris Ladd of Rocky Mountain House passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 52 on September 16, 2018. Chris was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and joined the Ladd family in Fort St. John, along with her brothers, at two and a half years old. Chris enjoyed life on the farm with her family and attended school in Rocky Mountain House.

Chris was dearly loved by her fiance, Dave Callan, her son Fred Osborne (Cori Lee Miller), and daughter Brittany Schaubel (Jon Schaubel). She will also be lovingly remembered and missed by her parents, Dennis and Audrey Ladd, her brother, Brian Ladd, her grandchildren Payton and Tyrell, as well as countless other family members and friends whose lives she touched. Chris was pre-deceased by her brother, Aloise Ladd, and close friend, Tina Montgomery.
Chris had an adventurous spirit and infectious smile. She made the lives of those who knew her richer and brighter - she will be forever loved and missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Rocky Funeral Home, on Monday, September 24, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Chris’s name may be made to the Calgary Children's Hospital.

My heart and prayers go out to the family. Some of my favourite memories with Chris were with our families at Calaway Park. Fred and Brittany, you both brought everyone together and made us all family. And that wouldn't have been possible without your mom.
