June was an active member of the community and organised the Evergreen Christmas concert for many years.
June was famous for her incredible baking skills. She loved to sing and dance. She was also an avid bingo player. Her many talents included quilting, crocheting, knitting, embroidery and ceramics. June also enjoyed fishing and gardening, but most of all June cherished spending time with her family.
June will be lovingly remembered by her brother Glen Black, her sisters Mary Shannon and Delia (Dave) Vert, her children Judy Leer, Marilyn (Emil) Baron, Donna Ross, Barb (Pete) Boyle, Johnny (Jane) Senkyr, Isabelle (Darcy) Stuart, 17 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
