He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Joyce Zirk:
My condolences to Doug's families. Him and his family were neighbours to many of the area families.
Delynn Rodtka:
Doug was always there to lend a hand and offer advice when we needed it the most when it came to my parents' farm. If we needed help with getting the hay up or what to do with the cows or anything that needed fixing, he was there. So much of what my dad does with the farm can be summed up in the education he received from Doug. He was such a huge influence that I don't know if we will find another who possesses as much knowledge as Doug did. Having known him since I was 11, I am very saddened to hear of his passing but also very grateful to have met and known him for the past 30yrs. He will be missed and thought of very often by not only myself and my family but by everybody who called him friend.
