The celebration of Carol’s life will be at the Caroline Hub (arena) on Saturday, April 14th at 2:00 pm. There will be an open mic for anyone that wants to share some stories.
Ladies are asked to please bring lunch.

Obituary

Scott, Carol Louise
1948-2018

On March 26, 2018 Carol Louise Scott (nee Black) of Leedale, AB passed away suddenly at the age of 69.

Carol is survived by her husband of 53 years, Floyd, their son Thad (Charlene) and grandchildren Kane, Cord and Kole of Condor; their daughter Lora (Shane) Nash and grandchildren Amanda, Jerett, and Austin of Gilby.

Carol was born to parents Carl and Doris Black (nee Hansen) on September 2, 1948 at Caroline.
She leaves to mourn her mother Doris, sibling: Ron (Fay) Black, Kelly (Tami) Black, Larry Black, Carl (Sheri-lynn) Black and Barb Shaw (Bob Langmuir), her mother-in-law Lillian Scott, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Carol was predeceased by her father Carl, two sisters: Darlene (Ken) Morgan and Brenda, and brother-in-law Ernie Shaw.

Carol spent many years driving alongside Floyd in their Volvo making trips to the states and back. She loved their dog Cash, side by siding, camping, watching her grandkids play hockey, baseball, and rodeo. They spent many winters in Arizona and were thrilled when they purchased their current home south of Maricopa.

The celebration of Carol’s life will be at the Caroline Hub (arena) on Saturday, April 14th at 2:00 pm. There will be an open mic for anyone that wants to share some stories. Ladies are asked to please bring lunch. Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Funeral Home and Crematorium, Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.

Floyd and all your extended Family members, It is with profound shock and sadness that we learned of the passing of Carol. We share many memories from both work and pleasurable times spent with you and Carol in past years and will always remember them. We send our sincerest condolences to you and your Family as well as all the extended family members in your loss, far too soon of your loved one, Carol. May your cherished memories help to ease your sorrows and guide you through your days ahead of you without Carol. She left you beautiful memories, her love is still your guide, and though you cannot see her she's always at your side. May she Rest In Peace!!

We wanted to come to Carol's funeral but Harvey is still calving and I have ended up the flu so will be unable to attend but wanted Floyd and his wonderful family to know how much I appreciated Carol's hospitality and enjoyed the great card games with her and Grandma Scott.
I can not imagine the loss that Floyd is feeling--53 years with someone is an amazingly long time--our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
