A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Rocky Mountain House, on February 4, 2019, at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at the Leslieville Cemetery following the service.

Judd, Margaret Kathleen
1930-2019
Margaret Kathleen Judd (Morrison) passed away January 29, 2019 at the age of 88 in the Rocky Mountain House Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Margaret Judd was born in Barrie, Ontario on February 28, 1930 to Gordon Elgin Wentworth Morrison and Annie Esther Pickering.
She was predeceased by her husband Keith (2013) and one grandchild Tanya Lea (1972), parents and brothers Robert John (Jack) Morrison (1982) and William Earnest Morrison (2000). She is survived by her brothers Harold, Don, and Roger, all residing in the Barrie, Ontario area.
Margaret met the love of her life and married John Keith Judd in Barrie, Ontario on March 12, 1948 and was married 65 years until Keith’s passing in 2013.
They had 6 children: John Gordon Judd, Thomas Keith Judd (Marie), Bryan Douglas Judd (Shelley), Cheryl Lynn Volkaert, Leslie Wayne Judd (Julie), and Karen Lee Jahraus (Dan). They have 22 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren plus many children of close relatives who she also considered her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
After marrying Keith the family travelled across Canada on multiple postings with the Royal Canadian Air Force living in Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec and Ontario. When Keith retired from the Air Force the family moved to B.C. where they enjoyed many adventures in ranching and mining. Margaret spent many of her years in B.C. in retail sales before she and Keith returned to Alberta and retired in the Rocky Mountain House area in 1998.
Margaret is fondly remembered by family and friends for her positive outlook on life, her infectious smile and her unwavering commitment to her husband, family and her faith. Her children didn’t always see her halo but they did feel the comfort of her wings.
