Obituary

BO ROMAN DECKER ABRAHAM
October 23, 1986 – August 12, 2017

It is with heartache that we announce the sudden the sudden passing of a quiet and good natured young man, Bo Roman Decker Abraham. The son of Kevin and Jolanda Kaquitts, Bo was raised by his grandparents, the late Joe and Verda Abraham. He journeys now to the Spirit World where Ade and Ena wait, with loving arms.

Bo was raised in the culture and traditions of the Stoney Nakoda people. A respectful young man, he made his life as an independent man in Red Deer, Alberta. In his youth, he was trained as a railroad worker. He later acquired a Class 1, Professional Driver’s license and was most recently working for the brick. His career as a driver took him to different places in Canada and the USA.

In life, he enjoyed the outdoors and liked to fish. A self-taught guitar player, Bo also liked to play billiards, baseball and basketball. However, his passion was video games.

Ade and Ena were proud of Bo and would have been proud to see that he stood up and became a man since Ena made her journey. He visited Ade regularly at home and frequently when he became ill and required care. Bo joins them now, free of life’s hardships.

Bo is survived by his parents, Kevin and Jolanda Kaquitts. Mourning his loss are his brothers: Rory (Helene) Abraham, John Abraham, Kyler Saddleback, Deris Saddleback and Keifer Holloway, sisters: Bella Saddleback, Shayna Saddleback, Terrenda (Kyle) Samson and Alyssa Holloway. Bo will also be missed by his traditionally adopted brothers, Luke Cecil, Farrel (Jeanie) Ear and sister Rainette Bearspaw.

In childhood, he regarded his aunts and uncles as his siblings because he was raised as their little brother. Grieving his loss are Rayline (Ted), Joeline (Brian), Michelle, Lindsey (Michael), Vincent (Agnes), Harry (Larissa) Abraham, Keith (Jubileen) Cecil and Darren (Charity) Kootenay. He was especially close to his sister Eldrena (Clinton) who with her children Emilio, Dominik and Clancina will miss him immensely. Cousins who Bo grew up with and now survive him include: Bonnie, Annie (Michael), Neltroy (Krissy), Noah (Danessa) and Pernell (Jane) as well as special nieces and nephews Payton, Eric, Lydell, Chellios and Delilah. Bo is survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as by grandparents Richard Kaquitts, Mary Lefthand, and Tina Fox.

He was predeceased by: his brothers Leo Abraham and Derian Saddleback, the grandparents who raised him, Joe and Verda Abraham, Grandfather James Kaquitts and Grandmother Mary Aberdeen.

His relations are extensive and include relatives from the Abraham, Aberdeen, Amos, Beaver, House, Kaquitts, Mark, Poucette, Wildman and Wesley families. The family apologizes if we missed anyone.

A Wake service will be held at the residence of the late Joe and Verda Abraham, Big Horn Alberta, August 17 and 18, 2017.
Funeral Services will be held for Bo Abraham on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Ta-Otha School Gymnasium, Big Horn, Alberta at 12:00 P.M. A graveside service will follow at the Two O’clock Creek Cemetery, Kootenay Plains, Alberta.
