Obituary

LAURA ANNE O’Connell-WEIMAR
October 28, 1988 – June 18, 2019

Beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, left this world too early after a lengthy illness on June 18, 2019. Born in Chichester, West Sussex England where she spent her early years, Laura and her family moved back to Canada in 1992 where she was raised graduating Class of 2007 from West Central High School in Rocky Mountain House, AB.
Laura was a strong, outgoing and passionate girl who loved and lived life to its fullest. Becoming ill at an early age, she had a lengthy battle with Liver disease undergoing two transplants and was awaiting a third when she passed. Despite her personal health struggles, Laura always managed to laugh and smile and was always there to help others with whatever they needed. She was loved by many and will be missed by many.
Laura was predeceased by her Grandparents, Michael and Josie O’Connell and Johann and Katherine Weimar. She is survived by her parents, George and Liz Weimar, her brother Jordan Weimar (Callista), her Uncle Kenneth O’Connell (Christine), Uncle Christopher O’Connell (Maxine), Uncle Karl Weimar (Gert), Auntie Marianne Hartman (Arend), Uncle Peter Weimar (Terry) and many loving cousins.
When you remember Laura, celebrate the wonderful memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and every day should be cherished.
