Brent Charles LeBlanc of Stauffer, AB, passed away on June 06, 2018 at the age of 54 years.
It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our loving son, brother, father, uncle and friend after a courageous 17month battle with lung cancer.
Brent was born and raised in Calgary, AB., he attended Viscount Bennett High School and learned to cut meat at home before working as a meat cutter for Canada Safeway. Brent then had a career as a heavy equipment operator before moving to the Rocky Mountain House/Caroline area where he found his calling and was working on becoming a Reader at the McCullough Center until he had to pause to fight his battle with cancer.
Brent loved to spend time helping his father with his trapping displays, being involved in the local Metis Association and spending time at the Rocky Mountain Friendship Center where he received a lot of love and support.
Brent is survived by his father, Marcien, Brothers Kevin (Diane) and Kyle (Marlo) LeBlanc, his loving children, Kirby, Corey and Leona Dawn LeBlanc, nieces and nephews. Brent is predeceased by his mother Leona LeBlanc (Stoudt).
A service will be held at 2:00 pm, July 14, 2018 at the Dovercourt Community Hall, (Just north of Caroline, AB.) Followed by a celebration of life.
